What's Happening?


Read below for a list of our weekly activities and other important info about our Student Ministry. There are times that our schedule does change, so be sure to always check our "welcome" page for up-to-date info on our activities or you can call us at 687-9750.

Sunday Mornings:
9:30 AM:
"Crosstraining" Sunday morning classes that help our teens apply the Bible to their lives!
Middle School with Debbie Bretz & team in F-26 * Senior High with Jim Painter in F-25

Sunday Afternoons:

The Youth Drama Team will resume their practice on Sunday, September 7th @ 3:30 PM.
Doxa Youth Choir will resume their practice on Sunday, September 7th at 4:30 PM!!
5:00-7:30 PM: Summit Youth Group: our weekly gathering for grades 6-12 in the "F" Building--PLENTY of food, fun and friends for all-so bring a friend and come join us!!
5:00-5:45: free time in gym & game room--snack bar open with pizza ($1) and a great assortment of other foods/candy ($.50-$1.00) Drinks are extra!!
5:45-6:00: Welcome/announcements/games
6:00-6:45: Worship
6:45-7:30: Small group time

Wednesdays:
Youth Orchestra and Youth Bells will resume their practice on Wednesday, September 3rd!
4:30-5:30 PM:
Youth Orchestra Rehearsal with Mark Thielen in E-4. 5:30-6:00 PM: Youth Bells Rehearsal with Matthew Corl in E-4

5:30-6:30 PM: All-church "Phoenix" dinner in the Fellowship Center, $5 per person--Fellowship Center

5:30-6:30 PM: Open gym & game room in F-4 - Snack suppers will begin on May 28th and continue during the summer - except for those Wednesday's when a church-wide dinner is provided.

6:30-7:30 PM: "Reel to Real" Bible Study in F-26- for grades 6-12-come and join us as we watch current movies and apply their message to "real" life and the Bible!!

Missions: Our Student Ministry is committed to reaching out to our church, community and the world through mission events such as: "Invisible Children Ministries", "Make A Wish Foundation", "Children's Clothes Closet", "Trunk Or Treat" and a week long mission trip for Middle School & High School groups each summer.

What Else?: Ski Trips, whitewater rafting, concerts, discipleship seminars, summer camps, Monday movie nights, mission/fun day and MUCH more!! Summit Student Ministry is the place to be!!
