Labor Day Picnic & Pool Party - September 5th
Mark your calendars NOW for our Labor Day Picnic & Pool Party on Sunday, September 5th. Bill, Judy & Bradley Hockensmith are hosting the fun from 4-7 PM at their residence - 5771 Lake Victoria Drive. Drop-off and pick-off there, and there is a cover charge of $5 per person! There will be PLENTY of food and a TON of fun for all, so make plans to come and join us!!
NIGHT OF JOY 2010
We're going to Night of Joy 2010 at the Magic Kingdom on Saturday, September 11th. We will travel by Chartered Bus - and there are 40 youth spots available. Cost for your ticket is $45. To participate fill out the registration form (download from Forms Page) and return it along with your payment to the youth office.
Our Night of Joy trip is now FULL--please call the Student Ministry office if you'd like to be put on a waiting list!!
High School Group Night
Calling ALL high school students! Mark your calendars NOW for an evening of fun at the Malibu Grand Prix in Tampa. The high school event is HAPPENING on Saturday,October 9th from 5-11 PM. The cost is $25 per person. Your $25 covers dinner, transportation, 5 races on the big track, mini-golf, and 20 game room tokens. Snacks are extra! Get your registration filled out and turned in with your payment. Space is limited!
Crosstrainers Weekend 2010
Crosstrainers Weekend at Warren Willis Camp in Leesburg is November 12-14. Come and join other students from around the state of Florida for a weekend filled with spiritual growth, fun and friends. This is a fall weekend retreat for grades 6 through 12 and the cost is $100 per person. Sign up soon to reserve your spot! You can check out the event at www.warrenwilliscamp.org.
Snowshoe, WV - Youth Ski Trip
Want to see SNOW this winter? Join us for a Youth Ski Trip to Snowshoe, WV from December 31-January 3. The cost is $400 per person and includes: Transportation, 3 nights' lodging, 2 days skiing & snowboarding with lift tickets, AWESOME staff and 5 meals! The non-refundable $200 deposit is due with the registration form. Final payment is due November 1st. There are 15 spots available - so sign up soon!

COMING SOON - September 1, 2010
Youth Alpha is a ten week introduction to Christianity for grades 9-12 that will meet on Wednesday nights beginning on September 1 from 6-7:30 in F-21 and is a study is for teens who "want to go deeper" in the Bible!
Debbie Bretz is facilitating the study, which teaches the basics of the Christian faith by asking questions like ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘What about the church?’. Throughout the course students will be challenged to think about the relevance of Jesus today.
Youth Alpha is an amazing course that is being run all around the world. It is an opportunity for you to explore what you believe and to question the beliefs of others. It is an opportunity to be listened to and discuss life, the universe and everything.
